How do I access Workflow from off-campus? (Using a PC)

Resolution:  

1.  Before attempting to log in to Workflow from home or remotely, you must first secure your account with Multi-factor Authentication.

 

2.  Once you have secured your account with MFA, navigate to canweb.canton.edu

 

3.  Log in by using the following format: Canton\NetID (without adding @canton.edu) and your NetID Password

 

4.  Click on "Workflow Desktop" which will initiate a file download.

 

5.  After the file downloads, right click on the file and click "Show in folder". This will automatically highlight the file.

 

6.  Right click on the file and click on "Rename" at the bottom.  Rename the file as "Workflow”

 

7.  Right click on the file and click on "Send to" then select "Desktop (create shortcut)”

 

8.  Now, on your desktop, double click on the file labeled "Workflow.rdp – Shortcut

 

9.  Click on the box saying "Don't ask me again for remote connections from this publisher"

 

10.  In the User field enter your information in the following format: Canton\NetID (without adding @canton.edu)

 

11.  Enter your NetID password, Click OK

 

12.  An approval request will be sent to your Microsoft Authenticator on your cellphone

 

13.  Press Approve on this notification

 

14.  The remote session will load and you'll be able to see a plain Windows 10 desktop with a Google Chrome icon

 

15.  Double Click on the Google Chrome icon

 

16.  You'll be brought to the Workflow log in page where you will sign in using your NetID (without adding @canton.edu)

 

17.  Log in using your Workflow password

 

18.  If you forgot your Workflow password and need it to be reset, please open a ticket.

 

19.  Once you complete your work in Workflow, click the Start button in the lower left corner

 

20.  Click on your profile picture

 

21.  Click "Sign out"

 

The remote session will sign out and you are all set.
