How do I pair a bluetooth Handset to my Mitel 6940(touch screen) Office Phone

 

Resolution:  

  1. Press the Settings button on the bottom left of your phone (looks like a cog wheel)
     
  2. Using the touch screen, press the option that says "Bluetooth"
     
  3. On the left side of the screen select the option that says "Available Devices"
     
  4. Put your handset in pairing mode (please refer to the manual of the device to do this)
     
  5. Select your handset device when it appears on the screen
     
  6. You know everything has been completed successfully when the office phone shows "Connected Successfully" on the screen
     

***NOTE*** The handset will constantly try to connect to the office phone, so if you are using earbuds that you use with other devices, you are going to need to turn off the Bluetooth on the office phone. That can be done by following steps 1 and 2 and then going to the upper right corner of the screen and turning off the blue slider.
