Turning the projector on and off
- To turn the projector on, press the ON button under display options
- To turn it off when you are done, press the OFF button
Changing the input source
- To rotate through the selected input options, press the intended source
- The selected source will appear on both the projector and the monitor on the desk
- To return to the original source (usually PC), simply select the PC button on the Extron
Adjusting the volume
- To adjust the volume settings, two things will need to be checked. The first is the volume from the selected source (PC, for example). That volume must be turned up.
- The second thing to check is the volume control knob on the Extron. Usually you will want this at 3 or 4 out of the 5 options. You can adjust this by using the volume control wheel
Momentarily muting the image on the projector
- To briefly shut off the projector while you are using it, but not shut it all the way down, simply press the 'Blank On' button on the Extron.
- This can be useful for when you need a moment to enter a password into a field and don't want students to see.
- When ready to display the projector again, simply press 'Blank Off' and the image will reappear on the projector.
