How do I request software for use in classrooms and labs?

 

Resolution: 

 

To request software be installed on computers in classrooms and labs, follow the steps below:

 

 

1)  Following the completion of spring break, a campus wide email is sent out to faculty and staff asking what software they will need for the following academic year
 

 

2)  Faculty should complete the survey as best they are able keeping in mind several things

  • Just because a specific software was included last year, does not mean it will be included next year
  • Faculty are encouraged to submit the form more than once so that all of their software needs have been requested
  • Standard software is based on current license agreements and is subject to change

 

 

 

For programs and software that you are requesting be installed on your state issued device, contact the SUNY Canton Help Desk
