How to Share Files and Folders From OneDrive From the Browser

  • Click share on the Folder/File you intend to share. The process is identical for files and folders.

  • Type in the email of the person you would like to have access, click their name when it appears, and select the level of access you want them to have. Click send, and they will receive an email and be able to access your folder/file.

  • Alternatively, you can select the "Copy link" option to send out a link that grants access instead. Clicking the gear icon next to the "Copy link" option will allow you to specify the level of access provided by the link, who can use it, and even set a password.
