Search
To search for content on SharePoint more effectively, you must know how to use filters. When searching from the home page, you can search the whole site, and you have the options to sort by last modified date and file type, as well as decide if the order of documents is determined by relevance, date of creation (newest or oldest), or date modified.
When searching within the documents section of SharePoint, filtering is done via the "filters" pane in the top right, which has a slider to set the last modified date, a modified by section, and a type section.
