How to setup your New Intune Device

  • Connect the laptop to it's charger and power on the device

  • A region selection screen will show up. Select the "United States" option and click "Yes".

  • Select the "US" option and click "Yes".

Select the "US" keyboard option.
 

  • Optionally you can add a second keyboard layout or click "Skip".

  • A "Let's connect you to a network" screen will be available. Select your Wi-Fi and sign in or plug your laptop into Ethernet and click "Next".

Connect to your Wi-Fi or connect the laptop with an ethernet cable and click "Next".

Sign in with your wireless sign in credentials.

 

  • A "Let's set things up for your work or school" will be available. Sign in with your full SUNY Canton email where it shows "someone@example.com".

Sign in with your full SUNY Canton email address and password and click "Next".
 

  • A setup screen will populate on the screen. This process can take some time. Make sure the device stays connected to power. Once completed it will boot into windows like every other computer.
