Press "Command" + "Spacebar" simultaneously on the keyboard. Type "Printers & Scanners", then press enter. Click on "Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax..." Double press the touchpad while hovering over the Toolbar and click "Customize Toolbar...". Drag "Advanced" onto the toolbar. Click into "Advanced" and wait for "Searching for printers..." to complete. Settings are as follows: Type = "Windows printer via spoolss" Device = "Another Device" URL = "smb://printserv3/Name_of_Printer Name = Name_of_Printer Location(optional) = include location of printer Use: "Generic PostScript Printer" Click "Add" If another window appears asking if the device is equipped with a duplex printing unit. Check printer and toggle as needed. then click "OK". Printer has been added successfully. Contact Help Desk to install drivers for color or poster printers.
