How do I share a file in Microsoft Teams?
How do I share a file in Microsoft Teams?
Share a file with a single person
If you can access a file on your device, you can share the file with other people in Teams. This includes files of any type.
To send a file to a single person, click the plus sign in the bottom right when chatting with that person, and select "Attach file", then "attach cloud files" for files on your OneDrive. You can click the file name once it is added to adjust the settings for the link that will be sent.
To share a file saved locally, click the plus sign in the bottom right, select attach a file, "Upload from this device", then select the file and click open.
Share a file with your team in a channel
To upload to a channel in a Team, simply navigate to the channel you intend to upload to and click upload, select file or folder, and select the file or folder you want to upload, then hit Open.
