How do I send an Email to a Campus Listserv?

 

Resolution:  

 

***Please Note: To send to the lists, you must first be granted the appropriate privileges. These will need to be requested by your direct supervisor***

 

1) Compose, and send your email to the following:


For Faculty/Staff:  cantonfs-l@listserv.canton.edu
For Students:  cantonstudents-l@listserv.canton.edu

 


2) After the email has been sent, the Listserv will send you back an acknowledgement email with your message attached, so please check your inbox. (This process will take some time, please be patient!!)

(This is your final opportunity to confirm that the email looks correct and is ready to be sent out.)

 


3) If you see no issues with your email, you must now click the Reply button to send the acknowledgement email with "OK" (without the quotations) in your message. This will confirm to the Listserv that it is okay to send out the email.

(You will notice in the acknowledgement email that there is a link you could click on to confirm the email. The link will only work from ON CAMPUS and is not the most reliable method, so we do recommend the method given above) 

 

 

4) There will be a built-in delay of about 10-15 minutes before the email will be distributed to the recipients.
