Resolution: To set up your account for scanning on initial use, follow steps below:
1. After logging into the MFU using your preferred method (access code or key card), click on 'Scan Document'
2. From there, you will continue to select your Scan Options as normal.
3. Then, select OneDrive from the list of locations to send it to.
4. You will be prompted that 'Authorization is Required'
5. Once the above message is displayed, you will need to check your SUNY Canton email for an authorization email from Pharos
6. Once the email is received, click on the Authorize button in the middle of the email
7. You will be prompted to sign in with your SUNY Canton credentials
7A. If you are already signed in to a site with your SUNY Canton credentials (email, Brightspace, UCanWeb, etc), you will be forwarded onto the Pharos Beacon Website
8. Once you have logged in, you will need to press the yellow authorize button in the middle of the screen
9. Once you click Authorize, you will be brought to an acknowledgement screen.
10. From here, you will be able to use the scanner to scan documents to OneDrive
Note: If you have not used the scan function in a 90 day period, you will need to re-authorize following the above steps.
