How to set Teams Meetings to automatically record when started

This article shows how to enable recording by default at the start of a meeting.

Resolution: 

 

  • Open teams and click on the "..." icon located on the left side of the screen, then search for "meet", click on the first option. 


Locate meetings in Microsoft teams

 

  • Click on the "New meeting" option located at the top right corner of teams.

  • Click on "More options" > "Recording & transcription" > enable "Record and transcribe automatically" (Select language according to meetings spoken language, the default is English)


Enable the "Recording & transcription" option in meeting options.
